BZ

The past week has been both hell and heaven. First off, I had to hastily paint what I deem as a Chinese landscape.

In my defense, I have absolutely no talent in mixing colors whatsoever. I could do sketching or drawing someone but my painting capacity is just zero. Nada. Then, I still have Geometry to worry about. [insert big sigh here]

It might have been new to us, but the entirety of III-C has really been putting their best Hush Puppies clad foot forward. We really aimed to win overall and if not, at least, just in the classroom. The prices were as following:

You see why winning has never been this important?

My groupmates and I have been doing fairly well and we’ve been working so hard (e.g. staying so very late in one member’s house and risking our parents’ wrath). We’ve been painting and doing all things related to poster making.

As if juggling the two hasn’t been enough, we’ve been tasked to interview a few people during the Sinulog festival and ask them about what they consider as a miracle in their lives.

It was pretty weird. I’ve never talked to strangers before, all the more that I made the first move to start a conversation. Fortunately, all the people I’ve interviewed were pleasant and accommodating. After some nervous talking here and there, my cousin and I decided that it would be nice to take cover and chill for awhile.

Watching Sinulog was pretty awesome. There was a lot of lively dancing and different colors were everywhere. It was nice seeing everyone so united, forgetting differences and the division to celebrate together.

All in all though, it has been another amazing experience.

Cheers to the stress!
