Heymoonshaker-London-Part Two

So, while I was surfing around Youtube yesterday looking for dubstep remixes of my favourite songs, I found this guy’s video performing a beat in London. At first, I was pretty sceptical, nowadays, it’s rare for us human beings to surpass or even equal what can be made out of technology (which is ironic, since we invented technology in the first place). But this guy…this guy proved me wrong. I was astounded. How can he make such sounds out of that mouth? Chanting words and at the same time letting out a beat? How can he produce such drops and wobbles that only computers were known for making?

But what really struck me was how the people noticed and gathered round him to see him perform. Call me sentimental but it touched me. I really find it lovely and heart-warming when I see people unite to witness what beauty there is that is left in this world. Wars, hunger, poverty, we are so preoccupied with so many things that we barely appreciate the beauty in front of us. I know one post like this isn’t enough to change the world, but see how this brought people together like how moths are attracted to a burning flame. Isn’t it beautiful to see? To come together to celebrate talent, art and to spread the word and give hope to those who have lost it, that there is still something good left in this world?

Psalms 73:26

Going to rediscover myself and become closer to God. I might sound crazy to some of you, but I love my religion even though I’ve already said that I hate it’s concept. I love God and having someone you can constantly lean on is one of the greatest things he’s ever done for me :)

Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus

Just Watched this Video. It’s really nice to look into someone else’s point of view. This guy and I…we share the same thoughts about these things. I always wonder what it would have been like if babies weren’t given the religion their parents preferred. What if I was a Muslim? Would it have made much difference? I’d still be worshipping a deity and trusting him with my thoughts, my secrets and hopes. Muslim, Catholic, Buddhist, sometimes I think these labels cause more problems than making the world a better place to live in. If you met a person whose religion was different from yours, would you be thinking the same thoughts you’d be thinking if you hadn’t known he/she was different from you in that way? Discrimination, wars, why is it present when religion is supposed to make us better people? It’s not that I hate MY religion, I just hate the concept of religion today.

I really think deep down, we have the same God, we just worship him in different ways.
